About this material

What it is

Depyrogenated 3 mL amber borosilicate vials with PTFE-lined screw closures, for aliquoting light-sensitive reference material out of its original container. Supplied capped so the depyrogenated interior stays that way in transit.

Laboratory handling

Storage and material handling

  1. 01Supplied depyrogenated and capped. Do not rinse before use — rinsing reintroduces what depyrogenation removed.
  2. 02PTFE-lined closures are single-compression. Replace the cap rather than re-torquing a used one.
  3. 03Amber glass is for light-sensitive material; it is not a substitute for cold storage.
  4. 04Dispose of used glass as sharps or chemical glassware per your institution's procedure.

Laboratory storage and material handling only. No dose, concentration, route, frequency or administration guidance is provided for this or any other item, for humans or animals.
