Most peptide suppliers sell material and treat the paperwork as an attachment. We built this the other way round: the certificate is the product, the vial is what the certificate refers to, and an item does not exist in our catalogue until its lot has a published record.
Any supplier can print a purity figure. The figures that carry information are the ones a supplier had a reason to suppress — the lot that came in at 96.4%, the batch with residual water above the internal limit, the certificate that ends in a hold rather than a release.
So the archive on this site contains every lot we have tested, in both outcomes, and each held record carries its reason in plain language. That is the whole argument. It is cheap to say you test; it costs something to show what testing found.
The same rule governs what we will not put on this site. Our homepage has four credential fields and all four are visibly empty, because we do not hold the documentation that would fill them. When we do, the reference numbers go in the field. Until then the field stays open, which is more useful to you than a badge would be.

Five steps in a fixed order. Numbered here because the order is the point — a lot cannot be listed before it is released, and cannot be released before it is tested.
Material arrives with the manufacturer’s own paperwork. It is logged against a new lot number, quarantined, and nothing is listed for sale at this point.
A sample goes to a contract laboratory for purity by RP-HPLC, identity by ESI-MS, endotoxin by LAL and residual water by Karl Fischer. We do not accept the supplier’s figures in place of this panel.
Purity at or above 98.0% and residual water at or below 3.0% releases the lot. Anything outside those limits is held, its certificate is published as held, and the lot is never sold.
Only after the certificate is in the public archive does the item appear in the catalogue with that lot number on the card. A product page with no certificate behind it is a defect, not a pre-order.
A retained sample of every released lot is kept so that a customer’s disagreeing retest can be checked against the original material rather than argued about.
